Learn to Read Series – Phase two – for Preschool and Kindergarten.
Once children learn and master all letters names and their sounds, they can start working on the pink series, where they learn to blend 3 letter words (CVC). These words can be read by simply blending the individual phoneme sounds together.
In Phase 2 (Pink Series), we are going to learn how to build 3 letter words with a, e, I, o, u vowels, as well as will learn some sight words and learn to read small sentences.
We are going to start our phase two Series with “word families”
In this lesson, we are going to learn the list of CVC words ending with –AT to help your child identify the sound and patterns as they begin learning to read.
We begin our lesson with blending two letter words first (at) then we will learn to identify the first sound of the given picture and blend it together.
